Certified Water Services installs Metsorb media arsenic and heavy metal removal systems to remove arsenic from the whole house water. We install the twin tank configuration, with a test port in the middle of the tanks, so you can always be assured that your water will be safe. When the water is tested at the test port and arsenic ‘bleed through’ is detected, Certified Water Services will remove the lead tank, move the secondary tank into the lead tank position, and then install a fresh tank in the secondary position.
We recommend a whole house arsenic water treatment system when the arsenic tests over the EPA’s Maximum Contaminant Level of 0.010 mg/l as arsenic is an EPA primary contaminant. The EPA Maximum Contaminant Level Goal for arsenic is zero.
Maximum Contaminant Level Goals are “the level of a contaminant in drinking water below which there is no known or expected risk to health.”
Primary Contaminants “protect public health by limiting the levels of contaminants in drinking water.”
A reverse osmosis drinking water filter system will remove virtually all of the contaminants in bacteriologically safe water.
